In WoW, the class of Warriors is considered to hold the first place when it comes to the tanking abilities and when it comes to their dps abilities, they also don’t lack. With this kind of a setup you can easily gather two different types of gear – tanking and dps. With a dual spec you can easily gear up since you can change your build when needed, like for example switch to tank when a tank is needed or switch to a melee dps if a dps is needed or if you just want to grind or PvP a bit. Have in mind though, that tanks are always harder to find and they are essential for any group so you will definitely be appreciated as a tank.
The Protection talent tree, like said before, should be followed by players that want to turn their Warrior in a capable tank. The talents you can find on this tree will surely make your Warrior a tough tank. By enhancing his armor, giving him more Stamina, making him more capable with his shield, giving him several attacks that create a lot of threat and by giving the Warrior several other great abilities the Protection tree is great for players that like to play an important role in raids and dungeons, namely the role of the tank.
When it comes to increasing your Warrior’s damage, you will have Fury and Arms talent trees at your hand. Arms talent build is mostly preferred by the PvP players since it has many good PvP talents and a few very useful attacks, for example Mortal Strike, which will decrease the healing done on a target affected by it. When it comes to PvE dps, the Fury talent build is mostly used to enhance the damage output of your dps Warrior. Some players claim that an Arms Warrior is also better in PvE when compared to a Fury Warrior. This however, is something that you yourself should judge. By choosing the Fury talent tree, you will be able to use some very nice attack abilities and you will be able to wield Two-Handed Weapons, which will not only highlight your character’s looks, but it will also make your class unique!
Warriors have been the backbone of civilizations through time and have always had a great purpose in battle. This amazing class in WoW is the only once that can equip all types of weapons.
